For Children of the Hjmalaya

tawangI have just come back from Manjushree Orphanage at very remote village of Tawang, so far away at the tip of North East India. It was fascinating experience.

“Tawang District” of Arunachal Pradesh is located at the foot of the Himalayas, at the most north-eastern region of India and sharing the border with Bhutan on its west side. Its elevation is over 10,000 feet above sea level and its winter is long and severe while the summer has a long rainy season of three months. However, the nature is very beautiful, full of deep forests and high mountains with snow caps and a great river runs through it. It is very rich in culture of Tibetan Buddhism. It is of special significance as the birthplace of His Holiness the 6th Dalai Lama and is home to one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world. It is also the place where His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama first found refuge after fleeing Tibet in 1959.

The residents of the district are the poorest of all the Tibetans living in India and. their health conditions are also very poor and many suffer from tuberculosis and other contagious diseases. His Holiness the Dalai Lama is very much concerned about it and he has recently helped to build a new hospital there.

Much needed the Manjushree Orphanage was first established there by Lama Thupten Phuntsok in 1998, with only 17 children and 3 teachers but now it is imperative to have a new and bigger school building. An architect based in New York City, Mr. John Ullman formed a nonprofit organization called “Architecture for Tibet” and has initiated activities targeting to build a new school building based on the traditional Tibetan architecture suitable to Tawang district. With a bright library, a computer room, and class rooms, despite the on-going hardships, the children can learn the Tibetan culture, Buddhism wisdom and the value of compassion with the renewed identities.

Manjushree Orphanage creator, Lama Thupten Phuntsok is a remarkable person and I was deeply impressed. I cried everyday for deep gratitude toward these wonderful children. I feel like I have 150 little teachers, running around me, (sometime with nose-running too,) teaching me for gratitude, patience, deep happiness, egolessness, non-jealous, caring & sharing, and especially for compassion. What is this about these children? This kind of way of passing life is perhaps in Tibetans’ DNA. They have no parents, poor and often handicapped. And yet they are so happy and fulfilled. Tibetans are unique people and their way of life and philosophy should be preserved. I feel sorry for all our children of well-to-do and yet often so unhappy.

I went to Manjushree Orphanage for two reasons:

A) To help to build a new school building.
B) To try to help Tuberculosis (TB) patients in a holistic way.

For A), USD 45,000 dollars is already pledged with my friends and myself to start the construction.
For B), a miracle has happened. Out of 150 children 11 were infected by TB. As of today, after 12 days of daily treatment, they are all TB FREE!! I can only say this is a miracle.

I did this by three ways, using Dr. Omura’s O-Ring technique in measuring conditions.

1) In 1920 – 30 for TB healing, a Japanese doctor, successfully used Moxibustion which is a famous Japanese traditional healing modality: We place special Herbs on skin and burn it. My FAR-INFRARED-ONNETSU THERAPY is, so to speak, a modern version of this.
2) Using Japanese herb medicine in conjunction with Cactus Honey Powder from ARIZONA Cactus which have been used centuries by the Native Americans as medicine.
3) Keeping their TELOMEA up high. “Telomea” in Chromosome was discovered recently as the bolometer of longevity.

My finding is that Telomea is also directly related to Immunity.

I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and for the knowledge of O-ring test I received from Dr. Omura.

John & I are working hard on raising fund to build this school building. I have also sponsored 9 children. I will be going back to Tawang. The next time, if you would like to join me, let me know.

Please help us to make this dream to a reality.
